Level 13 - Day 70

Part 1

Here’s the gist of this dramaflicks: All of them are honor students except for Prince which is Lorna Tolentino’s son. Lorna is their teacher. Prince found a copy of the final exam at her mom’s office. He shared it with Aljur and the leakage spreads to the rest of the class, well except for Stef whose role is the sumbongera.

I like the story, may social relevance siya. Their acting was ok but there’s still room for improvement. Galing talaga ni LT.

The Aljur-Rich-Kris love triangle is better than the Jewel-Mart-Paulo, or maybe it’s because of their roles. Mas may substance kasi yung roles nina Aljur & co. kesa Jewel and co. na parang pa-cute lang. Bagay pala kay Stef maging kontra bida. And as for Prince, mas bagay na role siguro sa kanya yung tipong inaapi hehehe. But he’s ok din naman.

Level 13 - Day 69

Kapag kausap mo ang tatlong taong may hawak ng future mo, will you put your best foot forward or would you rather be honest and uprun?

Stef: "Alam ko maraming galit sa akin na mga fans ng iba. Like kay Rainier na dati, yun. Mga issue na yun I didn't really mean to hurt anyone in anyway. At saka hindi ko po sinabi na parang hindi ako interested sa kanya kasi mabait naman siya eh. Hindi pa talaga ako ready sa lovelife na ganun kasi nga I'm concentrated on StarStruck talaga. I never meant to hurt anyone."

Direk Louie: "Sa dinami-dami ng sakit mo, merong totoong sakit na nilalagnat ka nung karaang linggo. Sakit na kalimot during sa mga performances mo, sa mga production numbers at meron ding sakit na late. So anong gamot ang sa tingin mo ang dapat mong inumin para gumaling ka dyan?"
Jewel: "Ako nalang po sa sarili ko ang dapat kong baguhin yun."
LT: "Maraming chismis dati ang lumabas na sa tingin mo, sino kaya ang nagkakalat nung mga yun?"
Jewel: "Wala po talaga akong idea kung sino yung pwedeng magkalat ng mga ganung bagay, pero I'm quite sure na ang mga nagakakalat nun, ayaw nila sa akin."

Kris: "Nag-iimprove po ba ako o wala ba talagang nagyayari?"
Direk Louie: "Ikaw ang Best Actress ko nung nakaraan kaya lang kung hindi ka pa panghawakan ng isang magaling na direktor, hindi pa lalabas yung gusto naming makita. Ang lamya-lamya mo, magpasikat ka sa amin."

Aljur: "Sa mga song numbers, hindi ko po napapakita yung best ko. Parang may limitasyon po. Siguro kung mabibigyan po ako ng mas mahirap na Song number, pag-aaralan ko po talaga."

LT: "Sa palagay mo, mas mamahalin ka ba ng tao kung may ka-loveteam o solo ka lang na sisikat?"
Paulo: "Mas gusto ko pong may ka-loveteam. Pero hindi ko rin po alam eh, hindi ko naman po nababasa isip ng tao."

Direk Louie: "Kung ihaharap ko sa'yo si Stef ngayon sayo, ano ang gagawin mo?"
Prince: "Nag-sorry naman po siya. Hindi lang siguro nawal yung pag-sorry niya. Pero hindi po ako galit sa kanya. Umabot po ako ng Final 8 dahil po sa pagsisikap ko at alam naman po ninyong lahat na wala akong suporta dito sa Manila. Nagsasariling sikap lang po ako."

Rich: "I admit na hindi ko po masyadong inaasikaso yung votes ko po. Hindi po ako masyadong agresibo when it comes to campaigning."

Mart: "Mahina po ako sa singing po. Tas may ibubuga po ako sa dancing."

Sunday - Danger 8

February 25, 2007

Tonight’s episode is called Danger 8 because this is the night when 2 (from 6) avengers will regain their survivor spot to complete the final 8 survivors who will vie for the four titles at stake.

The show started with yet another “taktak” dance number, but this time with the boys singing it.

There are 2 performing groups. The first 1 consists of Aljur, Prince, Jesi, Jewel, Dex and Jan:

The second group consists of Rich and Stef singing Christina Aguilera’s Hurt while Mart, Kris, Paulo and Lizzy perform a dance number to it.

DRAMAFLICKS AWARDS

The director of the 6 dramaflicks, Laurice Guillen, picked her Best Actor and Best Actress.

The best actor award goes to Aljur Abrenica.

The best actress award goes to Kris Bernal.

My forecast was correct! Mart Escudero and Rich Asuncion reclaimed the two vacant survivor spots to complete the Danger 8. Jesi gave a good fight this week pero kinapos. Kabado naman si Mart. Nevertheless, nice decision. I agree with the result 100%.

Dex Quindoza and Jewel Mische star in a Laurice Guillen directed dramaflicks - Tagpuan. Si Dex kaya ang avenger na mapapasama sa danger 8? Although nag-improve ang acting skills niya sa dramaflicks na ito and i think his performance is better than Aljur’s last night, for me si Mart Escudero pa rin ang best actor sa dramaflicks test this week. Advantage ni Mart ang pagkakaroon ng pinaka-challenging role among the boys. Pero mas malaki naman ang fan base ni Dex.

Let’s see what will happen this Sunday because Jan Manual is another equally deserving avenger for the survivor spot who could deliver an unexpected upset.

Pagsamo is the last dramaflicks directed by Laurice Guillen starring Stef Prescott and Jesi Corcuera. Come from behind si Jesi this time because surprisingly, Jesi delivered the best dramaflicks performance among the girls from being the worst last time. Grabe, kakaibang Jesi Corcuera ito parang hindi siya.

Jesi is trying to reclaim her survivor spot this Sunday and with this performance, marami siyang gugulatin. And by the way, Director Laurice Guillen gave Stef a 7 while Jesi an 8.
